There is a Ko'olau Caregiver Support Group Meeting on Sept. 14, 2009, from 7-9 p.m., at the Ko'olau Golf Course Clubhouse (downstairs, glass-walled classroom). It's described as a "time of information and support dealing with the complexities and issues of caregiving. All caregivers welcome. Let your friends and neighbors know about this valuable resource."

The information topic for September is "Issue of Conservatorship and Guardianship (when your loved one can no longer make sound decisions)."
